We’ve been onsite in Fladbury, Worcestershire this month installing an access platform for scaffolders to utilise on The River Avon. The rail bridge pictured is due to undergo repair works which require the bridge itself to be encapsulated in Scaffolding for the duration of the works.
Our pontoons are being utilised to give the scaffolders access to the abutments of the bridge from where they can then build up into the underside of gthe bridge and safely carry out there work.
The pontoon itself measuring 19 metres long and 8 metres wide around the column itself with a 7.5 metre access walkway was all installed in a matter of hours from arriving onsite ensuring that the scaffolders could crack on and begin their install.
