The last couple of years have seen a drop off in events and event concepts everywhere let alone the world of pontoons, but this year they been creeping back and this summer we have seen a spike in events from triathlons to music events and festivals, showcasing the multitude of uses our pontoons have.
We were recently approached by a longstading property management client whose belief is that ‘if people enjoy work, they do better work – if they do better work, you have a better business’. They approached us with the concept of providing a pontoon for their Island event. Working in conjucntion with the client our team were able to come up with a plan that was sympathetic to its surroundings whilst giving a wow factor to its users.
The final design saw a timber decked pontoon complete with festoon lighting and seating, they even timed it perfectly with the recent good weather meaning its had a lot of use in the sunshine over the past few weeks!
