Last week saw of 4 of our install team spend a couple of days in Hertford providing a work platform and access solution to our client in relation to the redevolpment work of Hertford Theatre.
The theatre is to be transformed into a thriving hub for arts and culture under the £24 million growth and legacy development.
Highlights include increased seating and a new circle level in the main auditorium, three new bespoke cinemas, new dance studios, a first floor bar, riverside café and plaza-style foyer. It also includes the development of an education and wellbeing department for schools and community groups, as well as improved backstage facilities.
The theatre itself backs directly onto a section of The river Lea with a raised gantry ringing the building, our team have installed a work platform on the water allowing ou client access to undertake works to this gantry. In total 140sqm of pontoon has been installed onsite along with Combisafe edge protection to ensure our client can undertake their work safely.
