This week, we have been present in East London, where we have provided one of our pontoons as a safety measure while the river guardrail is being replaced. The purpose of the pontoon is to ensure that if anyone accidentally falls while working near the edge, they are prevented from falling into the water.
This particular installation gave us the perfect opportunity to utilize our new HYVA trailer mounted crane, which not only saved time but also reduced the amount of manual lifting required by our crew. The trailer was conveniently parked alongside the river, allowing us to lift materials directly onto the water with the assistance of our trained crew.
As the project progresses, the pontoon will be relocated along the river to accommodate the ongoing works and will be securely fastened in its new position.
