The recent dry summers have seen a drop in reservoir levels to such an extent that existing pump out locations have been left unable to pump the water that remains in the reservoirs. Our pontoons offer the perfect solution for housing submersible pumps and pipelines ‘offshore’ ensuring that water can continue to be accessed and supplied.
Any shape, any size, any where
The buoyancy, stability and modular makeup of our pontoons make them the perfect solution for supporting and housing lifting gantries and submersible pumps. We can configure our pontoons to practically any shape and size, to support multiple pumps and gantries all at once.
Past Projects
Here’s 2 examples of past projects our pontoons have been put to use on.
Loch Glass, Scotish Highlands – We provided a55m x 2.5m walkway with two 5m x 5m pump heads to support 2 x lifting gantries and pumps.
Aled Isaf Reservoir – North Wales – We provided a 4 metre wide pontoon built at a right angle to a reservoir wall allowing pump out of water with an shore access for all cabling and pipework
