We’re currently supplying over 500 square metres of pontoon in central Bath allowing for bridge repairs and repainting to take place on The First Group Bath bus depot.
The pontoon is being used to house alloy scaffold towers allowing our client to access the bridge itself for painting as well as acting as a catch platform to prevent debris or paint from entering the water.
As a result of limited access at the install location we were forced to launch the pontoons approximately 100 metres up river from the install location. From there we utilised 2 of our rigiflex safety/work boats to ferry the equipment down river to the install location.
We are also supplying 2 x safety boats and skippers allowing for rescue, in the unlikely event that any of the workforce should fall into the water.
