Its been a long hot summer and you’d do well to have missed the news that water levels on the UK reservoirs are running low. For a company that relies on water to float our pontoons you’d think, what does this have to do with Floating Pontoon Hire?
One of the issues that a number of reservoirs are experiencing as a result of the drought conditions, is that pumping out the water that is still in the reservoirs is becoming more and more difficult. The existing pump out locations are being left high and dry and no longer able to draw water.
This is where we have been able to assist, by supplying a pontoon with a central moonpool along with a lifting gantry. Our client has been able to suspend pumps in a more central location on the reservoir with pipes running ashore allowing for the water to be pumped out and utilised.
Our crew of expert installers were onsite for 4 days in total along with 2 x work safety boats to assist with building the pontoon and then positioning it on the reservoir.
