Some jobs are simple. This one was not.
Last week, we were on site in Twickenham installing a 100sqm double-stacked floating pontoon to get heavy plant machinery across to an island for maintenance works.
The biggest challenge was access. There was no easy conventional route in, so the job needed a solution that could work safely on the water while still giving the strength, stability and load capacity needed for machinery to cross with confidence.
