One of our most recent additions to add to the Floating Pontoon Hire qualifications list is our in-house drone pilot and photographer.
Luke, one of our long-term staff who has a personal passion for photography and videography has been put through his GVC and A2CofC to allow him to fly and photograph our pontoons onsite, whether it’s in a big commercial building site or a busy public event now with these qualifications in place we can ensure we get some great content to show off our hard work.
What is a GVC and A2CofC?
The General “Visual Line of Sight 2 certification or GVC is the drone training and qualification required to apply for operational authorisation with the CAA. Your Operational authorisation enables you to operate a UAS “Unmanned Aircraft System” in the specific category as defined by the UAS regulations.
The A2CofC “A2 Certificate of Competency” is a new drone qualification which allows you to fly small drones close to people under the new regulations.
