It’s definitely reached the point in January now where its too late to say Happy New Year but what the heck, Happy New Year.
Here at Floating Pontoon Hire we had the pleasure of playing center stage (or part of the stage at least) for The Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations. For the 3rd year running we had the immense pleasure of supplying pontoons for the New Years Eve fireworks and light show in London. Our pontoons were used to float the lighting rigs that lit up The lastminute.com London Eye when the clock struck midnight and 2025 was welcomed in with a bang!
Due to the Eye being open daily over the Christmas period our crew had to install and remove the pontoons overnight whils the attraction was shut to the public. Working through the night and carrying 150 square metres of pontoon and edge protection from the nearest laydown point meant for a busy night, but as ever our crew dug deep and got the job done.
